“A few days away from the 30th Summer Universiade, Italy has been awarded another major international sporting event: congratulations to Milan and Cortina for the assignment of the 25th Winter Olympics. Our national economic system is also relaunched through these important international events”, said Gianluca Basile, Extraordinary Commissioner for the Universiade Napoli 2019. The news was received with great enthusiasm even by the Napoli 2019 Organizing Committee, which is working hard on the the final steps before the start of the University Games. The event will take place in Naples and Campania from July 3rd to 14th.
