Hosting an international sporting event such as the Universiade in Naples and Campania, with its numerous effects on the territory in terms of tourism and economy, is a choice that translates into new job and education opportunities for numerous professionals.
In fact, the Napoli 2019 organizational structure, which includes about 300 professional figures so far, keeps increasing the human resources necessary for the realization of the July event. The Organizing Committee set up a partnership with During Spa employment agency to select those in charge of managing and supporting the Delegations service center, planning and managing the accreditation centers, supporting the Athletes Village areas as well as technicians, engineers, accountants and transport service managers.
As for the construction sites, over 60 of them are currently active throughout the regional territory for the renovation and modernization of the venues that will host training sessions and competitions from 3rd to 14th July. More than 1500 workers are committed to the activities carried out by the approximately 90 companies that will make the competition venues functional and modern, representing a precious legacy for the Campania communities even after the curtains fall on the Games.
But the Universiade also represents a great opportunity for many young interns who have been gaining a valuable experience for months, or for the 5600 volunteers who will support the organizational structure of the international event, with applications covering 90% of the basic requirements.
