The Universiade Napoli 2019 and the Campania Regional Youth Forum signed this morning a memorandum of understanding. The goal is to promote the international event in the 5 provinces of Campania thanks to the 250 youth forums of the related municipalities; to encourage youth participation in the volunteer recruitment campaign; to create events and share contents on social networks.
“The Regional Youth Forum – stated the extraordinary commissioner for Napoli2019 Gianluca Basile – will be our link to the Campania Regional Council. I want to say thank you to the president Rosa D’Amelio who made it possible. This agreement represents a further opportunity to promote the Universiade, with the possibility of involving young people as volunteers”.
“With this agreement,” commented the President of the Regional Youth Forum Giuseppe Caruso, “we confirm the central position of young people in the process of approaching a pivotal event in Southern Italy for 2019 such as theUniversiade. A sporting event that, starting from the values of sport and cooperation, will contribute to the enhancement of Naples and Campania in the world”.
