The Main Press Centre, the press centres of competition venues, and the Universiade Park, will feature lounge areas for journalists, offering coffee breaks with snacks and hot drinks.

Similarly, every press centre will offer free bottled drinking water. In addition, media representatives may purchase food at cafes for spectators located across all competition venues of the Summer Universiade Napoli 2019. They will sell cold and hot drinks, fast food and other snacks. The Main Press Centre will have a cafe for media. It will sell a variety of hot meals that journalists can buy at their own cost. The cafe will be closed at night.

  • Instant noodles and porridges in sealed manufacture packs
  • Chocolate bars and candy bars in sealed manufacture packs
  • Sugar, coffee, tea in sealed manufacture packs
  • Biscuits, candies in sealed manufacture packs
  • Self-cooked food in a container (not more than 1 portion)

Journalists are not allowed to bring beverages, mugs, flasks, or thermoses to the Summer Universiade 2019 venues.

Journalists can find information on local places to eat in the cafe and restaurant guide at the info desk located in the Main Press Centre. The booklet will offer an overview of the eateries, their address, opening hours, website link, and information on their cuisine.
