In occasion of the Universiade, both Regione Campania and “Agenzia Regionale delle Universiadi” (ARU) have planned and financed a public transport system reinforcement in order to reach the venues and to provide late-night transfers.
The extra public transport service will start on July 3rd, in conjunction with the Universiade Opening Ceremony: every 15 minutes spectators will be able to take trains on Line 2 of the Trenitalia commuter rail service until 01:30 am, to Napoli S. Giovanni – Barra and to Pozzuoli; a similar service will be offered for the Cumana railway, on the Montesanto – Mostra route (every 20 minutes) and the Circumflegrea railway, on the Montesanto – Pianura route (every 30 minutes); ANM will extend the operating hours of the 502 bus line service (every 15 minutes).
In the following days, and until the Closing Ceremony, the transport services to the sports venues will be reinforced and the operating hours extended during the period of competitions:
· San Paolo Stadium – Piscina Scandone – Mostra d’Oltremare – Pala Barbuto: extension of operating hours of the Trenitalia commuter rail service, with last departure to Napoli S. Giovanni – Barra at 11:24 pm and to Pozzuoli at 11:34 pm (https://www.trenitalia.com/it/treni_regionali/campania/universiade-2019.html), of EAV’s Cumana and Circumflegrea railway lines (https://www.eavsrl.it/web/universiade-servizi-speciali-eav, with the same cadence of day 3, similarly for the ANM bus service (http://www.anm.it/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3427&Itemid=197); · PalaVesuvio: EAV bus connection (https://www.eavsrl.it/web/universiade-servizi-speciali-eav) until 11:00 pm from Piazza Garibaldi;
· Palacercola: EAV shuttle bus connection until 07:40 pm from Cercola station to connect with EAV trains of the Napoli – Ottaviano line,

· Casoria Municipal Swimming Pool – San Mauro Stadium: service hours of the CTP A3N line to Piazza Garibaldi extended until 00:00 am (http://www.ctp.na.it/dettaglinews.asp?ID=896;
· Pozzuoli PalaTrincone: service hours of the CTP P11N line extended until 00:00 am (http://www.ctp.na.it/dettaglinews.asp?ID=896) with transit through Pozzuoli (Line 2) and continuing to Piazzale Tecchio and Piazza Garibaldi (via Tangenziale);
· Salerno Arechi Stadium: at the end of the football matches the Salerno Trenitalia commuter rail service (https://www.trenitalia.com/it/treni_regionali/campania/universiade-2019.html), as well as Busitalia urban line 5 (http://www.fsbusitaliacampania.it/index.php/offerta/news-in-tempo-reale/887-servizi-straordinari-per-le-universiadi-2019-dal-2-luglio-2019) will operate until 00:00 am;

· Eboli PalaSele: Curcio bus services (http://www.autolineecurcio.it/files_utente/2019%20UNIVERSIADI%20preventivo%20corse%20supplementari%20Eboli%20TIMETABLE%20LINK(1).pdf) will offer daytime connections to trains arriving in Eboli station, with the last buses at 10:30 pm to Battipaglia and Salerno;
· Avellino PalaDelMauro: service hours of AIR urban (https://airmobilitasrl.it/avvisi-al-pubblico/?action=visatto&id=148) and connections to Mercogliano and Atripalda extended until 11:00 pm;
· Ariano Irpino Palazzetto dello Sport: at the end of competitions, AMU services will be offered to Contrada Scarnecchia and Camporeale (http://www.amutrasporti.it/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Progr.-Universiadi.1.pdf);
· Caserta Pinto Stadium and Stadio del nuoto: operating hours of CLP services (https://www.clpbus.it/2019/06/25/universiadi-2019/) extended until 10:00 pm to 00:00 am (as required) for the Caserta 101 and 102 urban lines; shuttle bus connecting the railway station and the sporting venues; reinforcement of suburban line 4 connecting to San Marco Evangelista and San Nicola la Strada;
· Aversa PalaJacazzi: service hours of CTP line M13 (http://www.ctp.na.it/dettaglinews.asp?ID=896) connecting to Naples (piazza San Francesco) and line 9 to Caserta (transit through Marcianise) extended until 11:00 am;
