As Basile said, “We are facing an event of extraordinary importance for Campania and Italy, which needs adequate professionals able to communicate all the initiatives”. The competitions taking place in Benevento are 10 football matches for men’s and women’s tournaments, shooting, 20 volleyball matches for men’s and women’s tournaments, and men’s and women’s rugby training. “Benevento – concluded mayor Mastella – is ready to host not only the competitions but also the sports delegations and the tourists who want to support their teams. Since this year Samnium is the European capital of wine, in addition to the ‘original’ food and wine itineraries and the witchcraft path, it is our intention to offer two themed evenings in the suggestive Roman Theater to the Universiade organizing committee and all the delegations participating in the competition”.
