A training meeting took place on Friday at the Naples Mostra d’Oltremare with the 14 apprentices who will participate in the Head of Delegations Meeting on April 1-5, the first official showcase of the World University Games.
The apprentices are language students at the University of Naples L’Orientale and Suor Orsola Benincasa, and they will welcome delegations at the meeting.
During the five-day event in April, representatives from delegations participating in the 2019 Universiade will visit sporting venues and lodging structures where athletes and staff will be housed during the games.
In addition, meetings will take place between FISU representatives and the delegations.
The training meeting on Friday was organised by Annapaola Voto, the director of the institutional area; Annamaria Ronca, head of workforce; and Fracis Cirianni, head of delegation services.
Commissioner Gianluca Basile said the Head of Delegations Meeting is a first impression that is particularly important.
