Napoli 2019 in partnership with Amesci for volunteers recruitment

The Universiade Napoli 2019 signed an agreement with Amesci for the selection, training and management of volunteers to be employed during the July event.

Leader of youth policies promoting the empowerment of new generations, Amesci provides training, planning and networking activities throughout Italy to help young people develop their expertise. 23,350 young people took part in the civil service projects, one of the most significant action lines carried out by Amesci. “It is a great honor for us to be an active part in the Universiade 2019 due to the importance of the event for our region – says Enrico Maria Borrelli, president of Amesci -. Thousands of young volunteers committed to welcoming and supporting the Universiade participants will be offered the opportunity to live an amazing experience. Together with the organizing committee, we intend to enrich it with training contents aimed at increasing their skills”.

Napoli 2019 will need a massive number of volunteers who, after some training sessions, will be involved in different activities: accreditation, desk within the Athletes Villages, reception of the Delegations, presence in the competition venues, marketing and social media, protocol and international relations. The minimum commitment required is 5-6 days a week with 6-8 hours shifts for a 25 euros reimbursement per day in addition to the meal voucher and the regional public transport card.
