An agreement between Napoli 2019 Universiade OC and “Unico Campania” Consortium has been signed, allowing the delegates coming from the 120 Countries and volunteers participating in the event to enjoy free local public transport in whole Campania region.
“A very important agreement” said Gianluca Basile, Napoli 2019 Extraordinary Commissioner, “as it offers the possibility, to those entitled, to move for free and in an easy way, in order to reach the competition venues and to visit the many tourist locations in our region as well. This agreement was conceived long time ago- he added- and I also would like to thank Luca Cascone, the Regional Councillor in charge of Transport, who gave a great contribution”. For Gaetano Ratto, “Unico Campania” Consortium Director, the service provided to delegates and volunteers “is an important sign of confidence in the transport system of our territory, awarding the efforts made by Regione Campania in this field, as well as public transport companies’ desire for renovation”
